Advising is here to help you develop a plan to reach your educational and career goals. Whether you\u2019re a new or returning student, the academic advising center can help you explore and define your academic and professional goals, select courses required to complete your degree, or develop a transfer plan to a 4-year college or university.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n

The goal of the Campus Safety Office is to provide students, faculty, staff, and visitors a safe, educational environment. The Campus Safety Office assists in coordinating the efforts of both sworn New Hanover\/Pender County Law Enforcement Officers and non-sworn Campus Security Officers, as well as CFCC Parking Enforcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n The mission of Career Services is to encourage and assist students and graduates in the continuous process of career planning, career decision-making, planning for marketability and job search.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n The CFCC Food Pantry exists to provide temporary supplemental food relief to CFCC students at no cost and to remove barriers associated with food insecurity. In addition to helping alleviate hunger, the CFCC Food Pantry aims to reduce the impact that food insecurity has on the academic success of our students.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n CFCC’s searchable database “Find Help” can connect you with a variety of agencies and services by zip code. Find access to health care, basic needs support and connection with local initiatives. Your CFCC Counselor can also assist you in locating additional community resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n The Counseling Center provides confidential, personal support for all CFCC students to address overall well-being as it affects their academic success. Some of the common areas Counselors address include anxiety, life transitions, stress, time management and classroom difficulties. Counselors also support students on Academic Probation by creating an Academic Improvement Plan for their future success. In times of need, Counselors can connect students with resources within the college and community.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n As a student, you can take advantage of our convenient and reliable child care solution while pursuing your educational goals.<\/p>\n Our center welcomes children between the ages of 2 (who can walk unassisted) and 12. Children may stay for a maximum of four (consecutive) hours per day. Whether you have a toddler or a pre-teen, our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe and engaging environment where your child can learn, play, and thrive.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Are you interested in a health science program? Are you planning to apply to these selective majors in the future? Do you need help understanding required courses or how to meet application requirements? <\/p>\n Get the help you need from the Health Sciences Enrollment Center. <\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is CFCC\u2019s Library. Students are able to check out books and videos, study, perform research, and browse periodicals. The LRC is also home to the\u00a0TV Studio.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n The Nixon Leaders Center focuses on increasing the graduation, retention, and transferring of underrepresented populations of students enrolled at CFCC through mentorship and networking. <\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Cape Fear Community College has visitor, employee, and student parking at all campus locations. It’s important to know where you can and can’t park as a student, employee, or visitor. Avoid getting a parking citation by making sure you read and follow the information on this site.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Testing Services manages the placement entry assessment program and administers GED testing for continuing education students. <\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Have questions about registration? Need assistance with transcripts, enrollment verifications, address or name changes, withdrawals and questions regarding filing your intent to graduate or graduation requirements? CFCC\u2019s Registrar\u2019s Office is here to help. Our office also oversees the grading process, WebAdvisor for students, processing of course substitutions, and more.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n From textbooks, t-shirts, and snacks to water bottles, graduation caps and gowns, and school supplies, the Sea Devil Bookstore has everything you need. The bookstore has two locations \u2014 downtown Wilmington Campus (411 North Front Street) and North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Rd., McKeithan Center, 1st Floor).<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Student Accessibility Services is committed to providing support to students with disabilities and works with all areas of the college to ensure that programs, facilities, and activities are accessible to all students.<\/p>\n<\/p> <\/div> <\/li>\n \n Student Affairs supports students in resolving educational, personal, and other concerns that affect the quality of education at Cape Fear Community College.
