Pursuant to federal and state laws, the College does not discriminate against applicants, students, employees or visitors in any program or activity provided on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions) gender, religion, age, veteran status, or disability.<\/p>\n<p>To comply, and under the guidance of, Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VI &#038; VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, applicable state and federal statutes, and CFCC policies, this statement applies to all students, employees, and visitors of Cape Fear Community College. <\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Dean of Student Affairs serves as CFCC\u2019s Title IX Coordinator and has primary responsibility for coordinating the College\u2019s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination in all the operations of the College, as well as any other protected status as delineated above and retaliation for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege. <\/p>\n<p><em>CFCC Board of Trustees, Approved, July 2024<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Fear Community College is fully committed to the principles and practice of equal and inclusive employment and educational opportunities.
